North Carolina Dancer Taylor Hopes to Be 2nd Generation NFL Cheerleader

We ask all of the college cheerleaders and dancers we feature if they have plans to cheer professionally when they get out of school. We get a mixture of answers, honestly. Some girls like New Mexico State's Anna are ready and planning their next step in the cheer world. Other girls are ready to move on to something else. I never really know what the answer is going to be.

North Carolina Tar Heels dancer Taylor knows exactly what she wants to do: follow in her mom's footsteps. Well kinda. Taylor's mom was a Philadelphia Eagles cheerleader back in the day, so being an NFL cheerleader is basically in her blood. Taylor even sent us a couple pictures of her mom as an Eagles cheerleader below (spoiler alert: her mom is a looker!)

The only issue with Taylor's plan could be a major sticking point in the family: Taylor's goal is to be a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader. In a house full of Eagles fans, that is basically considered treason.

But the soon to graduate senior is ready for the challenge. I'm sure her degree in Public Relations has prepared her to put a positive spin on her family betrayal. You can follow Taylor's journey on her Twitter or Instagram accounts.

Fast Facts:
  • Can drain 3-pointers like a boss
  • Wants to work in IT recruiting after graduation
  • Is a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority at UNC

  1. Best wishes to Taylor in her goal to be a Cowboy cheerleader. I'm NOT a Cowboy fan by any means, but will root for this young lady to make their cheer team. Best wishes Taylor! Go UNC! Go Taylor!
